Soul is perfect for celebrating a special occasion, corporate entertaining, or simply drinks and cocktails.
The ‘Main Bar’ features a large bar in the centre with surrounding seating, and the church’s former pulpit has been converted into a DJ booth.
Out front is a large courtyard with fixed tables and comfortable seating.
At the rear, there is a modern bar area with floor-to-ceiling windows, creating a brighter and airier space, with another sizeable bar.
As Soul is a large venue, it is capable of offering a lot to patrons. Its large kitchen and servery ensures it can offer exciting, high quality food. Soul Kitchen also has a buffet and set dining options available for large parties and corporate events, allowing Soul to efficiently cater for a large range of private or corporate functions.
Culinary options aside, the bar is well stocked with a large range of premium spirits, a sizeable wine and cocktail list and wide selection of draught and bottled beers and ciders, plus premium soft drinks and mixers, making Soul a great venue to simply socialise and enjoy a drink.
Soul’s aim is to set the standards for others to follow; offering customers the ‘full package’, from cocktails to dinner to private functions and Mixology classes, which it executes flawlessly.

The Back Bar at Soul is where most private functions take place. Situated in a modern conservatory to the rear of Soul’s Main Bar area, it has a separate bar and can be easily closed off for private functions.
The Back Bar is also where Mixology classes at Soul are held.
The space can accommodate around 250 people standing, and around 100 seated for a sit-down meal. The capacity of the Back Bar is of course dependent on the nature of the event (eg. there will be less standing space if accommodating live musicians), but Soul can easily adapt the space to suit the function requirements. At Soul, there is not a standard hire charge for the use of the Back Bar privately. However, as this space and second bar will be closed to the general public, a minimum spend will be negotiated with management, depending on the size of party.
The Back Bar can be hired privately Sundays through to Thursdays; Fridays and Saturdays are at management’s discretion and dependent on a number of factors including style/size of event, and a minimum spend will apply. The generous size of the bar itself ensures event guests are well looked after, with relevant staffing provided for the event. Soul Kitchen also offer delicious finger buffets or set menus for functions in the Back Bar. Soul’s menus can also be adapted to suit the needs of the function, eg. if the function has a theme.
The Back Bar has the ability to host a whole range of functions and events, from Christmas parties to corporate events, quiz nights to whisky tastings, and Soul’s dedicated team and management will ensure your event is one to remember.
